Toddler Two – 24 to 36 months

Cherry Hill, NJ and Sewell Toddler two child care

Bright Beginnings Academy in Sewell, NJ offers a unique bridge toddler program that allows for the great differences in how and when toddlers reach their milestones.

While improving their new gross and fine motor skills, the two years in which a child is a toddler includes some of the quickest intellectual and emotional development. We believe in encouraging each child to progress at their own pace while staying in an environment with a curriculum geared towards toddlers at similar growth levels. The toddler two curriculum begins to introduce concepts that children will see in our Toddler Three program, but in simpler steps.

This program will accept toddlers as the reach certain milestones, but are too young to enter our Toddler Three program. When they complete this program they will be ready for our oldest Toddler program, which will prepare them for the more structured setting of a preschool classroom.

We Focus On:

  • Language skills through games, nursery rhymes, stories, group circle time
  • A daily routine geared to increase attention-span stamina with nurturing caregivers
  • Social and emotional skills through kindness, sharing and the discovery of feelings
  • Musical skills using singing and rhythm instruments
  • Physical skills with repetitive activities to gain confidence, improve eye-hand coordination and dexterity
  • Creativity encouragement during arts and crafts projects
  • Plenty of outdoor play and discovery
